I'm coming back! Really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at Spotted Gums. Everything was perfect and the welcoming bottle of wine was a really nice touch. Close to all the action in the Hunter Valley, I would recommend the Spotted Gums cottage to anyone. Cheers Mark

It is 10 years since we were at the Hunter so time for another trip we stayed in the one bed roomed cottage called Lilly Pilly at Spotted gums cottages Pokolbin which was excellent so spacious and clean and nature all around, the hosts Tanya and Bruce were great offering very welcome local knowledge where to eat and sights to see and if you do not want to eat out there is a BBQ on the deck for your use. We plan on returning in the very near future and guess where we will stay Lilly Pilly of course.

This was perfect for our weekend away - the combination of the location, the property and the hosts. Spotted Gums is the ideal location for making the most of the Hunter Valley - (within walking distance to several wineries, a short drive to Pokolbin, but quiet + peaceful). The property itself was spotlessly clean, with comfy beds, spa bath and enough space for 4 adults. Tanya and Bruce were ace hosts - leaving provisions for breakfast, and getting the balance right between giving us space and making us feel welcome (including sharing a bottle of red from their own vineyard!) Would definitely recommend 🙂

Just back from a 2 night stay. Fantastic location, property was large and spotlessly clean - couldn't ask for anything more, especially as we're able to take our four legged friend for the weekend. Will certainly be going back soon...

Cozy and sweet modern cottage! We recently stayed at Lilly Pilly, the one-bedroom cottage at Spotted Gum and had a wonderful stay! We had our 22-month old son with us and it was spacious and lovely. The owners, Tanya and Bruce were very kind and gave us great recommendations on places to visit nearby. Morning coffee, sourdough toast and cereals were delicious!! Would highly recommend, especially for families.

Two beautifully fitted out cottages in peaceful setting right in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Restaurants, cafes and vineyards 5-10 minutes away. Lilly Pilly is perfect for that break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Spacious and immaculately clean.... it truly is a home away from home. Huge deck with outdoor setting and BBQ.... kangaroos playing outside. Great hosts. This really is a hidden gem! Highly recommended!!
